Spin Culture – Taal Fiza

SpinCulture

I stumbled upon Spin Culture by Taal Fiza through the nearly defunct Tribe.net. Man I miss that place.

This album is specifically dedicated to the fire dancers of the world.

Imagine Fire, Heat & Tribal Beats pumping while you spin your fire poi and hoops in perfect time! Recorded in the studio and on the road while traveling through exotic countries the album manifested into a diverse expression of electronic world beat.

Cirque Berzerk – Accidents

From the twisted carnival of Cirque Berzerk:

It would be P.T. Barnum’s worst nightmare.
If he weren’t so dead.

It’s been called everything from “a circus on acid” to “French burlesque meets Sweeney Todd.” Cirque Berzerk’s unique flavor of adult psychedelic vaudevillian tomfoolery returns to the Los Angeles State Historic Park. Performances run Thursday, June 18th through Sunday, July 5th, 2009.

Born at Burning Man in 2005 and named one of “L.A.’s 10 Weirdest Events of 2008” by the Los Angeles Times, Cirque Berzerk has tickled the collective innards of L.A. and beyond with a psychotically-tinged sultry show filled with sinewy, breathtaking acrobatics, sensual aerialists, gothic stilt walkers, fetishy burlesque dancers, voluptuous contortionists and a host of punk rock clowns, none of whom know how to make cute balloon animals for the kiddies. “Wholesome family fun” it ain’t.

It seems like they are really stepping it up a notch with the production quality, graphics, website, videography, the whole bit. I wonder if Britney Spears might make a stop from her “Circus” tour to check this out? Hah.
