I love the intro and the environment. This is beautifully shot and the hoop movement is great! I always love seeing uninhibited movement that feels authentically expressive.

I love my friends. Saba is so damn amazing. She started this school in Boston called NuVu that has MIT and Harvard grad students teaching high school students. We’ve been talking about me coming out to teach for a semester. I hope that happens :)

Bags just sent me this video. It’s very well done and interesting and spacial… good stuff. In Hoop Technique we’d refer to these as 3d moves. Any time you break the plane of the hoop, you start to capture volumes. In these moves Bags captures space rather than just drawing on a 2d plane. A lot of 3d development is going on right now and this video is one of the most concise and innovative I’ve seen.
