Antispin Flower Diagram

asf

I made this (and yesterday’s) diagram for the NorthWest Hoop Gathering. I’m hoping to have an 8.5″x11″ layout to give everyone that will include all of the moves and exercises we work on. So if you are coming to FLOW, you’ll see these diagrams again. My hope is that with a brief description, the diagrams will help people be able to reconnect with the moves. They also provide an additional modality for learning the move in the first place.

I was a bit confused at the illustration, but now I see that the colored dots correlate to the pivot points.

I’ve been playing a bit with triplet triangles at a slower BPM — left – right – bottom. Not sure how isometric they are since I haven’t taped myself, but I suspect that they’re more like the fours without the top. Looking forward to your workshop.

Question: What size hoop would you recommend for practicing these? Every time I try it, my hoop knocks into the floor for the lower part of the flower. But I like big hoops (and I cannot lie?).

I know that there are female and male flowers on a pumpkin vine. And I
know that you need to pollinate the female flowers by hand sometimes,
but how can you tell a male flower from a female flower? ok thank u
